Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D)
The Part D prescription drug coverage will work differently from Medicare Part A and Part B. To get the coverage, you’ll choose a plan from a private company that is contracted with Medicare. Each plan may be a little different.
If you have drug coverage now, you will want to compare the plan you have now with the new plans that are being offered under Part D during Open Enrollment. Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, is available to anyone who is eligible for Original Medicare. Different insurers offer different types of plans, so your cost for the plan (premium) and your out-of-pocket expenses for prescription drugs (copayments, coinsurance and deductible) will vary. It is important to shop around to decide which plan is best for you.
We work with many of the top companies who offer these Part D plans, so let us help you make an informed decision, which will make the most sense to you and fits your budget.
We will review all your options at no cost to you and help take the confusion out of choosing the right plan for your needs.
